I started mushing at late seventies, and raced mostly sprint and mid distance. Started with 2 dogs and from mid eighties I mostly run an open team
I more or less quite racing in mid nineties I started judging in 87 on a national level and got my International Judge license in 96.  
I got my International Race Marshal license in 2000.

I have been Race Marshal at many international races like European Championships and World Championships
In late eighties I started as RM in long distance races, like Femundløpet and Finmarksløpet. Together I guess I have been RM at approx 20  long distance races.
Beside my Judging career, I have served in the Board of the Norwegian Sled dog rasing  Association   for 20 years, 9 of them as President
I’m also holding the position of Sports Director in ESDRA and is currently member of the IFSS European Sport Committee and member of the IFSS  Race Judge Committee.
